I was reading Questionable Content earlier. He linked to a news story about QC being used in a comic project by kids. It's the picture with the article that's interesting, though:

That looks like plushie Loki on the can! Pretty cool. It's nice that SGVY is being used to teach inner city youth like that.

Anyone else get the feeling the world just got smaller? Sometimes, I feel like the internet is as vast as space. Other times, I feel like it has compressed our world in some strange way.

I thought the project is called "Create a Comic", not copy one.

The site's pretty clear where the art comes from, so the guy isn't taking credit for it (which would definitely be plagiarism). Also, it looks like the kids make original comics, too. Similar to how painters study the masters by copying them, and then move on to their own work.
