Oh dear. There's a public discussion in Sweden right now about armpits. No, it's true. It was on "Melodifestivalen" it all started. It's sent on national tv where the swedish people are able to vote for the song we want to send to The Eurovision Song Contest. A girl appeard on the screen, a girl with UNSHAVED ARMPITS. She were jumping around happily because they song she rooted for just won. People have been bullying her in media saying it's unhygenic and disgusting (It's calming down now).
How did all the women in Sweden (some from other countries too!), some men too, respond to this?
Well, a campaign mainly on facebook called "Bring the hair back!" where they upload a picture proudly presenting their armpits. I think it's a great cause and all, but I still find it silly. All people should be able to do what they want. I don't really care about other people's choices as long as it's not hurting anyone. And I can't see some armpit hair hurting anyone. People can keep all the hair they want for all I care! But I'm quite impressed with all the people standing up for this girl and now themselves!
I haven't participated in all this since I really do prefer shaving. But it's intresting to see where all this will be leading.
So what do you guys think? Is this all just silly or will it make an impact?

I don't know! I mean the manifestation against it where people upload pictures and all. That I don't understand ;__;
It just turned into something to promote feminism. Because the only girls that would want to keep their hair are feminists? It's ridiculous!
